Life of a BoatKid Video

Jessica and Emma star in their own video "Life of a Boatkid". They answer questions about what it's really like to live on a sailboat, how we tackle homeschool, describe a typical day and showcase how great it truly is to live the life of a boatkid.

  2. Hi Jessica and Emma, my sister and I are living aboard on a Catana 471. I don't know if we will visit Mexico by early 2017, but it would be fun to meet up sometime. We will be crossing the Atlantic Ocean this coming November to the Caribbean. Then we will decide what to do next.

  3. I loved your video, Jessica and Emma! I can tell you put a lot of time into creating and editing it! And, as a former boat kid myself, I thought you did a great job of describing the life. I tell my kids stories about growing up on a boat, and what it was like, but your video really showed it! My 12-year-old daughter (who REALLY wants to go cruising) watched the video yesterday, and she loved it! When does Episode 2 come out? :-)

  4. Jessica and Emma! We are a family with three kids and expecting a fourth one soon. We come from Bulgaria and Russia. We live on a small island in Mediterranean sea - called Cyprus and we are dreaming to sail across Mediterranean and beyond some day. As a mother I have so many worries about how we can all manage. Your video helped me a lot as I can see how well you too manage with everything - school, helping your parents and socializing. I think you already achieved a lot more than many of your peers. Thank you for inspiration and perhaps one day you will sail around Europe and we will come across each other. Veronica (mum of Alice, Nikita and Emilia).

  7. Great video! Thank you so much for sharing. Also love the idea of the hard drive for school work. If you are ever in Fort Lauderdale we'd love to meet up!
